LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Travel is easy, accommodation plentiful; the climate is good all year round and the food and drink easy to come by and full of variety. Culturally, the country is littered with superb old buildings, narrow twisting streets suddenly open out to views of daring modern architecture and almost every second village has a medieval castle. Spain is renowned for it’s world famous artists; El Greco, Velasquez, Goya, Dali and Picasso and there are many museums and galleries to match.

Music is in the blood and the country vibrates with every kind, from the drama of the Flamenco to the Celtic music and gaitas (bagpipes) of the northwest. What will never change is the Spaniards passion for partying and their love of sport whether football or bullfighting.

Benalmádena Costa is located 16KM to the west of Malaga on the south coast of Spain.  An all year round warm climate and a coastline that offers many attractions is all only a few kilometres away. Benalmadena Costa has a nearby railway station linking it to the airport and the rest of the Costa Del Sol and an excellent bus service with routes to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola and Gibraltar, etc. Click the links to the left to find out more about each attraction/activity.
